Johnny "Buck" Fate Sheppard

Slim spent thirty plus years as a licensed apprentice in the line of carpentry and construction. Upon the arrival of this debilitating disease of ALS, Slim was forced to retire from his long-standing career with JB Mouton General Contractors. He was blessed with hands that could fix and repair anything that he touched, with perfection. He enjoyed spending time with his family and hunting. He had a great love for dancing, basketball, and was a devoted New Orleans Saints Fan.

In the evenings he would pull his mother outside in her wheelchair under the tree and sit and talk to make sure she got a glimpse of the world for that day. After he felt she had enough he would then roll her back into the house to do it again the next day. Mr. Eddie loved cutting grass and helping his neighbors making sure that no pine cone or leaf would settle on the ground a day before it was picked up. He had a daily routine about himself until his health started to fade. After his mother Ann went on to sit in God’s waiting room, his routine did change but not much, he would still sit out on the porch raising his hand to everyone he knew as they would pass his house making sure he would speak and smile. He will be missed dearly by everyone he came in contact with.

She later moved to Schwabach, Germany where she studied and apprenticed in retail, and worked in her mother’s restaurant. It was in Schwabach, where she met and married Alfred W. Siepert on July 1, 1964. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Theresa Ledet Trahan; Husband, Irving Latulas; Four brothers, David Sr., Paul Steve, John Melvin and Alvin Trahan; One sister, Lucille Jack; Step-father, William Livingston; Nephew, David Trahan Jr. and Son-in-law, Gregory Washington.

Don meets Murphy and his gang and convinces them that Dusty went to Dallas. Murphy tells Don that she had his money and threatens to rape his family if he does not pay him $20,000 the next day. "Home Sweet Hell" is a very dark joke with the American Dream. Don and Mona seem to have the perfect life, but there is a sex problem between them.

I have to give credit where it's due, this book was responsible for getting me out of a year long reading slump. Wouldn't recommend a read-through at night when you're home alone! Haven't read anything horror related in a while, but this is proper scary and creepy. The ending does leave one with some questions about what is happening and if it really is over but that just means you must read the next book in the series to find out what will happen.

😀 It really grabbed my attention from the start, the characters fit in well with the narrative. This book contains romance , paranormal incidents, a respectable main character and the writer leaves bread crumbs of mysteries to be unfolded in the future books. I’m looking forward to unraveling those mysteries through further reading. If the film is worth even a cursory look, it’s from a sociocultural standpoint. Home Sweet Hell finds her onscreen persona finally surpassing her offscreen image in terms of unpleasantness. Heigl plays Mona Champagne , part Stepford Wife, part Serial Mom, with a touch of Election’s Tracy Flick and a dash of Desperate Housewives’ Bree Van de Kamp.

Expertly written and compelling, it tells the Story of Shea Tobin, who returns to her small hometown after a long absence. She tells Don that she is pregnant and wants to keep the baby.

I could literally picture every minute detail as it was happening which, to me, is always a great sign of amazing writing. Murphy and his friends, Freeman and Benji , discover Dusty is missing, and suspect that something went wrong and attack Les. Murphy also threatens Don by leaving his son a letter, in which he demands a meeting at a strip club.

Ivy Whitaker is a name that caught me off guard but one that I will certainly remember because Verbank now holds a place very dear to my heart. I was burnt out of the books I’d been reading and I wanted a taste of something a bit darker and the cover of Ivy Whitaker’s first novel had my attention the moment I saw it. The news of her ailing father drew her back home from half a world away. Back home to the memories she believed were better left forgotten, in a town that she felt was better left in her rearview. Verbank had always held its sleepy secrets, but Shea could have never guessed there were skeletons hidden in those closets.

For a film intent on rubbing our noses in just how deranged its characters are, that’s a pretty poor showing. The plot lurches into motion when a young woman named Dusty sashays into Don’s store looking for a job. Don hires Dusty, and soon the two are “working late” . Don Champagne runs a successful furniture business. His wife Mona has everything planned according to the book of her goals. One day an attractive young woman named Dusty applies for the job as saleswoman at Don’s store.

Unfortunately, she’s also the one who gets brought back to her hometown. She gives up her current life and wants nothing other than to take care of her sick father. I found myself unable to put the book down for chapters at a time, desperate to learn that the characters I had so fallen in love with were safe and unharmed. Thankfully, there is a second book already scheduled to release because I wanted more the moment I finished the final page. While it has many of the usual horror troupes that you would expect from a horror novel, or movie, it does have some twist that make the book a little exciting. Is it the spooky whistling, the unsettling footsteps, the possessed child?
